Essbase Multi Server Environment

In the multiple servers environment one server can make connection with other server. Management of other server is possible from a single place. 

Essbase allows you to connect tow Essbase server to each other. 

 

There are two servers in my network one is Essbase server 11.1.1.3 and other Essbase server 9.3.1.3. If you want to connect one server to other you have to fill the information of remote server and login with their credential. 

 

Connect remote server “vadminis-064ad2” to existing server “orgbisp”.

 

You can see connections done successfully both servers are not identical. Similarly you can connect both sever as cross connection. Connect to Essbase server 11.1.1.3 “orgbisp” to Essbase server “vadminis-064ad2”. 

 

Note: - Essbase Server should be on shared mode.

You can access both servers to each other. According to rights administrator of remote can perform operation.
