Essbase Cube Migration

Essbase Cube Migration from system 9.x to 11.1.1.3

   1.Using Migration Wizard utility.

   2.Using manually migration process. 

Point to be remembered for successful cube Migration 

1. You must have Create/Delete Applications permissions.
2. You also need Create/Delete Users and Groups permissions for the target server.
3. Make sure the target server is running.
4. Back up any databases to be migrated.

Step #1

Essbase version 9.3.1 has one utility for application migration.

Step #2

Select source Essbase server is “essbase” version 9.3.1 and target Essbase server is “essb” version 11.1.1.3.

Step #3

Select source application and target application server. If the target application has old version of same data then make check true.

Step #4

Select all artifacts or only those artifacts which you want to Migrate

Click on finish

You can check in messages panel the application  is successfully migrated to the “essb” server.
